Twenty-four Duval County Public Schools teachers were selected to receive a pair of tickets to the Jaguars game against the Houston Texans. As a way to say “thank you” to our teachers, Jaguars’ players Josh Scobee, Adam Podlesh, Jeremy Cain and Derrick Harvey used their own money to purchase tickets to give to teachers.
The teachers selected to receive the tickets were invited downtown to the district building to pick up the tickets, and received autographs and pictures with Jeremy Cain and Adam Podlesh. The Jaguars' players wanted to show their appreciation to the teachers for all the hard work they do in educating our children.
“We understand they have a really tough job to do, and for us to be able to do this is really rewarding,” says Jaguars’ punter Adam Podlesh.
