We honor those soldiers who sacrifice their lives to protect our country. Their sacrifices have paved the way for freedom, justice and liberty for all.
To celebrate Veterans Day, students and staff at
Biscayne Elementary honored military veterans with a breakfast.
The breakfast began with greetings from a group of enthusiastic students. Fifth-grader Anthony Williams read a Veterans Day poem and Aniah Jackman concluded with an inspiring rendition of
The Star Spangled Banner.
The students wanted everyone to know they "thank our military Veterans for their courage, service and sacrifice, and for always thinking of the red, white, blue and America, the home of the brave."
