Continuing a 10-year tradition,
Fort Caroline Middle School students recently participated in a Holiday Book Giveaway.
During the event, all 850 of the middle schoolers had the opportunity to select a book of their choice to take home and read.
According to Principal Jennifer Bridwell, this is the school’s gift to the students, and emphasizes how important the teachers and staff believe reading is to student learning.
This year’s Holiday Book Giveaway was made extra special by CSX and United Way’s donation of student cinch sacks filled with school supplies.
