Many students at
Biltmore Elementary School recently received turkeys for their holiday meal thanks to a special donation by the Community Foundation in Jacksonville.
The Community Foundation in Jacksonville is the oldest community foundation in Florida, serving the citizens of Jacksonville and surrounding Northeast Florida. Through the foundation's MKM Fund, a monetary donation of $500 was giving to the school's Special Scouts group for their Turkeys for Thanksgiving drive.
Thanks to the Community Foundation and the Scouts, many of Biltmore Elementary's families in need were able to celebrate the holidays with a wonderful meal.
