First Coast High School students created a night of mystique and wonder as they presented a program entirely in French. The performance was under the leadership of French instructor, Dr. Louis Hunley.
Christian C., Emma S., Jason D. and Melody P. presented a skit about Americans in a French café. Poetic recitations and dramatic reenactments were executed by the following students:
- Trung H. - "Hippopotame"
- Jasmine B. - "Un blanc m'a dit"
- Rachel T. - "Dans la Sierra"
- Keisha M. - "La Vierge a Midi"
- Ben B. - "Aube"
- Koffi K. and Paul P. - "En attendant Godot"
- Brian P. and Holli P. - "La Cantatrice Chauve"
- Faithlynn D., Griffin F., Nathan W. and Sierra C. - "Quatre Surprises"
Guests were enthralled by the students' eloquence as they combined French with their acting skills to put on a superb performance. Bon travail, First Coast High School students!
