Elizabeth Riddick, a senior at
Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, came in first-place during the 2012 Talent Hunt Program. Her routine earned her a $1,000 scholarship.
The event was sponsored by the North Florida Chapters of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. It was held in Milne Auditorium on the campus of Edwards Waters College.
Second- and third-place winners include:
- Brittney Sims, 10th-grade, Douglas Anderson School of the Arts - spoken word
- Davante Snider, 10th-grade, Raines High School - vocal
The internationally mandated project of the fraternity, Talent Hunt, was launched in 1946 by the Charlotte, NC Chapter.
