Sandalwood Air Force JROTC Excels in National Competition

The Sandalwood High School Air Force JROTC (AFJROTC) recently competed in the National High School Drill Team Championships, which was held in Daytona Beach. The school's Color Guard placed first amongst all Air Force JROTC units in the nation.

Master Sergeant Grayling D. Hunter and Master Sergeant Bob Doty, Sandalwood's AFJROTC instructors, led the students to a fifth-place overall standing in the nation. The hard work and dedication of these cadets has truly paid off. Congratulations to each cadet, the instructors and Principal Dean Ledford on this remarkable accomplishment.
