The Communication and Social Skills (CSS) Department held a Parent Date Night at
Loretto Elementary to provide child care for the CSS students so their parents could enjoy a night out. Many parents of children with autism don't get the chance to go out to dinner without their children due to the challenge of finding childcare capable of the level of care needed.
The students who stayed with Loretto Elementary staff enjoyed an evening of games and movies along with a pizza dinner. Loretto CSS plans to do this next school year on a bi-monthly basis.
