The Jaguar Chorus and Jaguar Jam Ensemble at
Beauclerc Elementary provided an evening of musical entertainment for students, parents and teachers. Jaguar Jam is an after-school percussion ensemble, comprised of 22 fourth- and fifth-grade students.
Under the direction of music teacher April Laymon, the chorus also performed musical selections with third-grade Dual Language students. All of the students who participated in the fun event rocked the house.
In addition to the enjoyable music performance, Kathy Schmidt, art teacher at Beauclerc, conducted the Beauclerc Art Fair in the cafeteria, providing an "art gallery" atmosphere with student work framed and displayed. Artwork was also available for purchase with proceeds benefitting the Beauclerc art program.
