Eathen W. performed a dance mix; Amanda M. sang "Rolling in the Deep," by Adele; and Sophia B. sang "The Climb," by Miley Cyrus. Thank you to all of the students who performed!
Congratulations to third-grader Sarah H. who won New Berlin's Bonnie Farm Cabbage Contest! Her cabbage, which she named Miss Sierra, weighed in at a whopping 34 pounds, was 20 inches tall and more than 39 inches wide. Bonnie Farms provided free cabbage plants to third-grade students at participating schools across the nation. The students who grew the biggest cabbage at each school are now entered in a state drawing for a $1,000 scholarship. One winner will be awarded from each state.
New Berlin wants to thank everyone who supported the Boosterthon Fun Run in May. Students raised more than $24,000 that will be used for exciting new technology that will be revealed to students this fall.
