The Jacksonville Sharks and Duval County Public Schools have joined together in the efforts to save school athletics in the upcoming 2012-13 school year. Chum, the Sharks' mascot, stopped by the district office to encourage employees to purchase tickets to the upcoming Sharks game on Saturday, July 14 at 7 p.m. A portion of all ticket sales will go towards the district's efforts to save school athletics and physical education programs.
