Hats off to an outstanding group of teachers at
Ramona Boulevard Elementary for being selected as Teachers of the Week. Principal Donna Frank said these teachers deserve the special recognition because they continue to build leaders despite the unique challenges of their student population.
“Working in a poverty school, our challenges are steep but these ladies help close the gap, help their students acquire independent thinking, and are producing wonderful students who will lead our country some day,” said Principal Frank. “I can tell you that these ladies could teach anywhere and be highly successful.”
Congratulations to the following teachers:
• Kenya Downer, third-grade
• Cameron Foley, third-grade
• Kelly Gacki, third-grade
• Wendy Gilbert, first-grade
• Melissa Hewiett, second-grade
• Patty Ratcliffe, second-grade
