A big thank you goes out to Wolfson Children’s Hospital for their sponsorship of this year’s DCPS’ Wellness Awareness Program initiative in our schools. Wolfson Children’s Hospital will present a $10,000 check to Duval County Public Schools, showing their partnership with the district.
The DCPS’ Wellness Awareness Program strives to increase health awareness, promote positive lifestyles, decrease the risk of disease, and enhance the quality of life of employees and their families. Its goals include providing resources for those at health risk and providing disease management for those with chronic conditions.
Thanks to Wolfson Children’s Hospital, Duval County Public Schools will be able to spread the wellness program into the schools and create a healthier Jacksonville. For more information on the DCPS’ Wellness Awareness Program, click
