The
S. P. Livingston Elementary’s honor roll students proved that hard work pays off as they were rewarded with a trip to the Naval Air Station (NAS) Air Show. The lucky 107 students watched the variety of aircrafts fly over them at the show.
Starting at 10 a.m., students and teachers watched aviators race into the sky. The excitement built for the show’s finale with the Blue Angels. The honor roll students also enjoyed the Kid’s Zone with a rock-climbing wall, extreme air power jump, three-story tall turbo shuttle slide and bounce houses. They even had the opportunity to sit in the aircrafts.
In order to receive an invitation for this trip, students were required to uphold grades of A’s, B’s, E’s and S+’s with good conduct. Congratulations to the qualifying students! Keep up the great work.
