TV Production
Television Production is a division of the Communications Department and produces two monthly half-hour television shows, Brain Brawl: The Superintendent's Academic Challenge, public services announcements and training videos. Other services include Audio/Visual meeting support.

REAL School
REAL School is a hosted
entertainment-style public service program featuring the
best of Duval County Public Schools. Each show features
profiles of the district’s Top Teachers, Star Students
and Top Programs. REAL School is hosted by different
Duval County public school students each year.
Airs the first Sunday of
the month at 10 a.m. on WJCT-TV (Comcast Cable Channel
8) and 11 p.m. on the first Tuesday of the month on WJCT-TV.

School MATTERS
School MATTERS is an interview style
public service program. Superintendent Joseph Wise and a
WJCT moderator, Stacy Ellison, hold a conversation with
school administrators, teachers, students and other
stakeholders on a variety of topics.

the month at 10 a.m. on WJCT-TV (Comcast Cable Channel

Brain Brawl: The
Superintendent's Academic Challenge: Now in its
28th year!
DCPS TV Production, under the auspices of the Academic
Programs Department and in collaboration with Douglas
Anderson School of the Arts, produces the video version
of this academic competition among Duval area high
schools.

service announcements for airing on local TV stations
and cable television on a variety of topics to educate
and inform our community.
