The faith community is an integral part of the
entire community. This initiative identifies
organizations that will assist schools to achieve
specific goals and objectives. Faith-based
Partnerships promotes the collaboration and sharing
of educational resources and information between
faith-based, community groups, schools, and parents.
Additionally assessing, maintaining, and developing
relationships with faith-based organizations,
schools, the district and technical assistance
through existing partner agencies. We know that the
faith-based community is a very important support
system for many families. And we also know that when
families and communities work together with schools,
students succeed.

To improve and expand the opportunities, resources,
and partnerships with faith-based, community and
civic based organizations to more effectively serve
the students of Duval County.
