Schools by Cluster

Duval County Public Schools consists of more than 170 schools throughout Jacksonville, Florida. The school district is divided into four educational clusters, which are managed by four chief officers who report directly to the Deputy Superintendent.

Elementary Cluster
The Elementary Cluster is comprised of 74 of our elementary schools and provides these schools with a unified voice focusing on academic consistency.

Elementary Turnaround/Title 1 Cluster
The Elementary Turnaround/Title 1 Cluster consists of 35 of our challenged schools and addresses school needs based on the feeder pattern for the Turnaround High Schools.

Secondary Cluster
The Secondary Cluster consists of 30 middle and high schools and fosters needed opportunities for schools to work on student achievement and preparing students for high school and post-secondary education.

Secondary Turnaround Cluster
The Secondary Turnaround Cluster consists of 21 of our challenged middle and high schools and provides an opportunity for schools to address the unique academic and social needs that impact all students in our Turnaround schools.
