Students
Belief 1: We believe
that our foundation to success is to ensure that all
students are provided with individualized education
through engaging, challenging, and meaningful work built
upon positive relationships, in a non-threatening,
learning environment that creates value for individual
responsibility in a community effort.
The Student

end in mind

courses needs and evaluating course

the work (Schlechty,

with teachers to guide them in making
the curriculum relevant

some scale version of level of
engagement

monthly goal/path discussions

and leadership teams sharing their
thoughts and opinions giving feedback on
successes and struggles

school as a community to which they
belong and share their learning with
each of them
- Understands that the staff
values them as a person first, their
work second
- Volunteers their attention and
commitment
