ESE Parent Survey
How well is your school
supporting your involvement in your child’s education?
The Florida Department of
Education (FLDOE) is conducting a survey designed
to provide the state with information on how well
schools are supporting parents’ involvement in their
child’s education. Under the Individuals with
Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), states must report
this information to the federal government every year.
Duval County Public Schools
needs you to respond to this survey. Last year less
that 20% of our Duval families responded. We want
to increase parent responses to 50%. Your
response to this survey will provide important
information for planning, monitoring and improvement of
activities. Please take the time to go online at
www.ESEsurvey.com to complete this brief
survey beginning February 1 through July 1, 2010.
