Foster Care Services
Foster Care Social Workers serve as liaisons for the
school system for students in foster care. Liaisons
consult with case workers, parents and providers as
needed regarding educational concerns. They advocate for
foster care students in the school setting, participate
in community and school-based conferences and serve as
liaisons to facilitate special transportation requests
when required.
