Michelle Stinson has taught
for more than 15 years in Duval County. She believes
that she role models for children no matter whether she
is in the classroom or the mall. She prides herself on
the environment that she creates in the classroom:
organized, nurturing, happy and positive. Michelle
considers herself a ‘professional reader’ and often
receives inquiries from other teachers wanting to find
out what she is currently reading.
“Children are at the heart of what I do. Over the last
fifteen years, my students and their parents have
created memories that I will never forget. My students
know that school is their second home. I continually
strive to make them feel welcome, secure, nurtured and
loved.”
~Michelle Stinson
“As a dynamic first grade
teacher, Ms. Stinson’s influence has brought many
students who are now adults, back to her door to say
‘thank you’ in so many special ways. She exhibits
lifelong learning, avidly reading and researching to
find additional ideas that will enrich our total school
program and assist all children in making learning gains
and becoming better students. ”
