Duval County Public Schools provides the following benefits free to all full-time, salaried employees:

  • $10,000 Group Term Basic Life Insurance

  • Board paid Employee-Only: DCPS Non-Contributory Medical Plan
    (The medical plan option depends on the Bargaining Unit). DCPS Non-Contributory includes employees represented by Administrative, AFSME, Exempt, DTU (Teachers, Paraprofessionals, and UOPD), JSA, LIUNA and Maintenance.

  • Board paid Employee-Only: DCPS High Deductible Health Plan
    (The medical plan option depends on the Bargaining Unit). DCPS High Deductible Health Plan includes employees represented by Administrative, Exempt, JSA, LIUNA and Maintenance.
     
  • $250 Flex Dollars - These Flex Dollars defray the cost of voluntary benefits selections or dependent coverage.

  • DCPS Contributory– Employer contribution of $450 (employee-only tier level) and additional 300 (dependent/family unit tier level).

  • DCPS High Deductible Health Plan – Employer contribution of $605.28 to a Health Savings Account
