John Stockton School Advisory Council SAC

SAC Meetings are open to the School and the Public – anyone can attend.

Issues before the SAC requiring a vote shall only be voted upon by SAC Members.

Functions of SAC:

·        Approves Budget, School Improvement Plan and school policies

·        Serves as stake holder to provide communication link of parents, community leaders and school community

·        Acts as resource persons to the Principal to resolve community issues that affect the students and the school

·        Reviews school data and needs

·        Brainstorms to set goals for the school

·        Sets into action goals to help the school/students and community

SAC Meetings:   

Time: 7:45-8:30 am

Location: Normally meets in Stockton Media Center unless notified otherwise

Dates: Third Monday of the Month, unless a holiday is on Monday then the meeting occurs on Tuesday (example January - Martin Luther King Day, February - President’s Day)
