Assistant Principal for 6th Grade: Mrs. Dianne Rahn received her bachelors’ degree in Elementary education from Carson-Newman College in 1982. She received her Master’s in Educational Leadership from Walden University in December 2006. Mrs. Rahn has achieved her Principal Level II certification in 2009. She has served as a teacher in Duval County Public Schools 22 years and Berkeley County Schools in South Carolina for 4 years. She was selected as Most Valuable Teacher by the Association of Secondary School Administrators in 1993. She was elected by her peers as the Teacher of the Year at several schools where she worked. She has been recognized in Who’s Who among American teachers several times. She has published two poems through Poetry.com. She has served as patrol sponsor, grade level chair, DTU building representative, Shared Decision making Chairperson and member of the leadership team in her several schools. She served on the district Professional Development team for Region II. Mrs. Rahn is a state level trainer in Florida Performance Management System. She is also certified as a trainer in SREB Literacy Leadership. Mrs. Rahn is a certified trainer in Literacy from the National Center on Education and Economy. Mrs. Rahn has served as a District Instructional Coach for 7 years working with as many as 27 schools on all levels from K-12. Mrs. Rahn served as Assistant Principal at Eugene J. Butler middle school and she is currently the Assistant Principal for our learning community “C” sixth grade |
