We love to learn
at Susie E. Tolbert! Our program
is designed to nurture and stimulate the academic strengths and
talents of all children while meeting the unique learning needs of
the gifted child through a wide range of cross-curricular activities
that develop individual potential.
In addition to core curriculum programs, gifted students attend
FLIGHT classes one day a week, where their unique learning
needs are met by activities designed and implemented by gifted
endorsed educators who are passionate about Gifted Education.
The program at Susie E. Tolbert provides an opportunity for students
to be increasingly challenged with academic rigor that exceeds
regular standards as their skills develop. The majority of the
faculty, including our Principal, are gifted endorsed and others are
completing their endorsement classes.
