The vision

Ruth N. Upson Elementary School
is to inspire
and provide opportunities for every student to think, to learn, to achieve, and to become a better person in our global community.
The
mission of Ruth N. Upson Elementary School is to
provide an engaging learning environment in which students are afforded opportunities to develop their intellectual abilities, experience academic success, and learn how to be contributing members of their community. Students will be provided a comprehensive educational program that is standards-based in accordance with Duval County Public Schools standards and the Florida Sunshine State Standards.
