As we all know, Duval County schools are dismissed one hour and 15 minutes early every other Wednesday for a total of 16 Early Dismissal Days.  Early Dismissal Days allow time for professional development activities and collaboration among teachers and staff during the school day. The dates for early dismissal  are:

September:  7th & 21st

October:  5th & 19th

November:  2nd & 16th

December: 7th

January:  11th & 25th

February: 8th & 22nd

March: 7th & 28th

April:  11th & 25th

What will happen to students not enrolled in the Extended Day/Team Up Program?

Students who are not enrolled in the Extended Day/Team Up Program must be picked up or ride the bus at 1:45 pm on the Early Dismissal Days.  Students will not be allowed to remain on campus after dismissal unless they are enrolled in the Extended Day or Team Up after school programs.
