PTA and SAC

|
As a new school, we need to work hard to start out with a strong partnership between home and school. To do this, we need your support. We need to organize our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and School Advisory Council (SAC). We need all parents to come and participate on both committees. We would like to hold an initial meeting for both groups so that we can begin laying out our plans for the year. We need to elect officers of both committees and decide what dates and times we will meet. Our first meetings will be held as follows:
SAC - Tuesday, September 16th at 6:00pm PTA - Thursday, September 2nd at 5:30pm

Production Elements for School Matters and REAL School
Academic Resources

|
The DCPS Academic Looking Glass is produced bi-weekly to assist principals, teachers, parents, and district staff as a quick reference guide about what students are learning during a sliding two week window. The learning schedules listed are not comprehensive due to space constraints and should be considered fluid in nature, as teachers are given flexibility in the speed of coverage according to the needs of students.
