I teach 4th/5th grade
Literacy, which includes reading, writing, grammar
and spelling instruction. This upcoming year will be
my fifth year teaching at a school in Duval County.
I am coming back for my second year at Windy Hill.
Currently I have three kids….dogs! They are quite a
little handful. Anything to do with the outdoors is
for me. I enjoy bike riding at the beach during the
sizzling summer, water sports, camping, fishing
(took a snorkel trip to the keys recently). Label me
a sports fanatic! Growing up I lived, breathed and
kicked a soccer ball. Go Jags! FSU! Not #1 in FL.
but still the greatest in my book.
I was raised in here in Jacksonville; growing up I
attended Neptune Beach elementary, Fletcher Middle
and High School. I received a B.A. degree in
Communication with a minor in English from FSU. The
thought has crossed my mind that I might go back for
a master’s degree sometime in the near future.

Hi! I'm Mrs. Bochese (Bo-ke-ze),
formally known as Ms. Dearborn. I am
teaching 5th grade (all subjects). This is
my third year teaching at Windy Hill. I grew
up in Connecticut, lived in Rhode Island for
six years, then
moved to sunny Jacksonville
to teach!
I graduated from Roger
Williams University with a bachelors of arts
in Education and Anthropology/
