My name is Marylou Graham. I teach in the

Terry Parker High School. After attending FCCJ for two
years, I went on and earned my degree at University of North
Florida. I have been teaching in Duval County for 22

my first daughter Amanda was born. She is now a senior in
high school. My other daughter, Darcy, will begin her

Mrs. Miller
V.E. Resource Teacher

I am currently a
V.E. teacher, K-5 with the Exceptional Educational program
at Windy Hill. I have had my own class and have worked with
other teachers in the inclusion setting. After graduating
from the University of North Florida,I began substituting at
Windy Hill and other local schools. Windy Hill became my
permanent home in 1992 and I'm still part of this wonderful
faculty and school eighteen years later. My husband's name
is Barrett. He was very active at Windy Hill when our son
attended kindergarten through fifth grade. My son Cody has
donated much of his time to Windy Hill projects and to
helping his mom with technology issues in her classroom. We
have a Labrador Retriever named Hootie and this past spring
we adopted two kittens that were found on the Windy Hill
campus. I enjoy reading, scrapbooking, walking Hootie and
spending time with my family. Although I grew up in
Pennsylvania and Indiana, I have lived in Jacksonville the
longest and consider it home.

Mrs. Douthett

It is with great
pleasure that I work the students and families of the Windy
Hill Community. I came to Windy Hill 19 years ago, from
Brookview Elementary. I immediately felt connected to the
neighborhood and have been honored to serve here ever since.
I grew up in
Panama City, Florida and graduated from the University of
West Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Specific Learning
Disabilities. I love working with all students, but
especially those who face challenges. As a person with
cerebral palsy, I understand that each person has their own
difficulties in some area.
I have since gone
on to attend the University of North Florida, where I took
coursework to become certified in middle grade science.
After that I went on to earn a Master's Degree in
Educational Technology from Webster University. I think of
myself
as a lifelong
learner.
Outside of
school, I love to spend time with my husband Joel, who
teaches high school, or one of my two children. My daughter
Katie works for
the March of Dimes and my son Ben is a student at Paxon
High.
