Mrs. Hopkins
Kindergarten Teacher

This is my first year teaching at Windy Hill! Last year, I was an Intern with Mrs. Hancock in First Grade. After I graduated, I worked as a tutor and full-time substitute at Windy Hill. I am so happy to have my very own class! I am originally from Kennesaw, Georgia and moved down to Jacksonville to go to school, and most importantly, be close to the beach!

I hold a BA from UNF in Pre-K/Primary Education. I am also certified K-6 and ESOL. Soon, I want to pursue a Master's degree!

I recently got married to my husband Paul in February. We have 2 cats, Lily and Baby, and back in Georgia are my family dogs (the cuties in the picture) who we miss dearly!

When I'm not at school, you can find my husband and I surfing our favorite surf spot in Neptune Beach. I also love to run, ride bikes, do yoga, play tennis, and anything that involves being outside and active.
