Mrs. Fazzari
3rd Grade
Room 55
This
will be my third year teaching 3rd grade
at Windy Hill. Prior to this year I have taught 3rd
grade math, science, and social studies. In addition
to this I will also be teaching ELA this year! I am
looking forward to teaching and knowing my students
in every subject! I am also the Student Council
sponsor for Windy Hill.
When
I am not at school, my husband and I enjoy spending
quality time with our 2 four legged fur children.
Shorty is a four year old Dorki (Dachshund
and Yorkie mix) and Phoebe is a 5 year old Chocolate
Lab. When I am not playing with my goofy dogs, I can
be seen cruising the streets on the back of my
husband’s motorcycle or watching college football.
I
graduated from the University of North Florida with
a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education- Go
Ospreys! I am also ESOL endorsed and currently
working on becoming Nationally Board Certified.

Mrs. Gower
3rd Grade
Room 52
This
year, I am teaching third grade. I will be teaching
ELA and my partner Mrs. Kennedy will be teaching
Math, Science, and Social Studies. I am excited to
be back in third grade this year, as this is where
my teaching career started 11 years ago. I taught
for 6 years in third and fourth grade in New York.
This is my 5th year at Windy Hill.
I am
married to Clancy and we have a daughter Abigail.
Abby will be starting kindergarten at Windy Hill
this year. We also have cats and a special puppy
named Mona. Mona is a pure bread Great Dane. Our
family has fun going to the beach every weekend,
taking Mona to play at the dog park with other Great
Danes, doing crafts, and watching movies. I enjoy
scrapbooking, reading, and my favorite sport is
hockey. As a matter of fact, one of my former
students has been signed this year to play in the
NHL for the Toronto Maple Leafs!!
I have a
Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a
focus on English, and my Master's Degree in Reading
which I received from Binghamton University. I am
ESOL certified and would like to go back to College
to get a degree in Spanish.

Mrs. Kennedy
3rd Grade
Room 53
I currently teach 3rd grade Math, Science, and
Social Studies and I am the co-sponsor of the Windy
Hill Elementary 2009-2010 Safety Patrols.
This year will begin my 12th year as an Educator in
Duval County. I have only taught at one school and
that is this amazing school for past 11 years.
I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration degree
from Edward Waters College of Jacksonville, FL. I
also completed two more
years at Edward Waters College to receive my
certification in Elementary Education.
When I am not at school, I enjoy going on vacation
with my family, listening to music (all kinds), and
watching tear jerking movies.
I am happily married to Mr. Isaac Kennedy Jr. who is
the Team Up Director at Long Branch Elementary
School. We have two amazing boys, JaDaruis who's 7
and Jaylen who's 4. As a family we enjoy playing
sports, video games and traveling.

I am currently a 3rd grade ELA teacher at
Windy Hill Elementary. I am excited to be beginning
my 11th year in education and my sixth
year at Windy Hill. I have a Bachelors Degree in
Education from UNF and I have also completed my ESOL
certification.
I have two children Taylor (14) that is starting
high school this year and Tristan (12) who is in
middle school.

Ms. Mispel
3rd Grade
Room 51
I teach third grade math, science, and social
studies.
This will be my ninth school year as a teacher, and
my eighth teaching third grade specifically. I have
had the privilege of being at Windy Hill for four
years now.
I graduated from UNF in 2000 with a Bachelor's
degree in Pre-K/Primary Education. A little known
fact about me is that I spent six years developing
and running a personal business in the financial
industry dealing in investments, mortgages, and
insurance.
When I am not at school, I love watching all sports
and I especially enjoy bargain shopping. Most of my
time is spent raising my two young daughters. That
makes me proficient at many different tasks!
As a youngster, I attended Jacksonville Heights
Elementary, S. P. Livingston Sixth Grade Center,
Eugene Butler Seventh Grade Center, Jeff Davis
Middle School, and Forrest High School. All of
these are Duval County Public Schools.
