Hello, I am Abby Hedgecock. My
husband's name is Robert and right now we have three
kids-or should I say cats! Their names are
Princess, Stinker, and Ferbie. They are one of my
many loves and if you know me-you know them too!
I graduated from college in 2004 from
University of Central Florida with my degree in
Elementary Education. This is my fifth year at
Windy Hill, but my first year in third grade. For
the past 6 years of my teaching career I have taught
4 years of second grade, one year of first and one
year of sixth. I have loved every minute of all my
6 years!
If you are in my class you have an
exciting year ahead of you! I love to read books by
authors like Tomie dePaola, Shel Silverstein, and
Patricia Polacco just to name a few. My writer's
notebook is full of stories about my friends,
family, and cats! However, what I enjoy most of all
is learning about all of my students. I can't wait
to see what this year has in store for us. See ya

Mrs. Marchan

I am currently a 3rd grade ELA
teacher at Windy Hill Elementary. I am excited
to be beginning my 13th
year in education and my seventh
year at Windy Hill. I have a Bachelors Degree in
Education from UNF and I have also completed my ESOL
certification.
I have two children Taylor (17) that is starting
high school this year and Tristan (14) who is in
middle school.

I am will be teaching fourth grade
this year at Windy Hill. I have been in
education for five years, all of which I have
spent at Windy Hill Elementary School.
I received my BA in education from the University of
North Florida. I also have my ESOL certification.
I am married to Mike, and have two beautiful
daughters, Kristin and Dana. When I am not at
school, I enjoy running, reading and going antique
shopping.

Mrs. Sicotte

Hi! My name is Katherine Sicotte (pronounced
'Sea-cot'). I am a graduate of Mississippi State
University - Go Bulldogs! Sounds far away but, as a
military child, I actually spent many of my younger
years here in Florida. I have been teaching in Duval
County for 2 years but this will be my first year in
third grade and I'm very excited!
I
have been married to my husband, Josh, for 7 years
and we have a wonderful, very active 4 year old
named Hayden. He will be starting Pre-K this year
and he is getting super excited! I love to read and
spend time with my family and friends!
I
am so excited about this year! We are going to learn
just how much fun reading can be and how many
exciting activities can be used to better our
understanding of math, as well as much, much more! I
can't wait to see how much our students learn and
