Oct. 12, 2026 - Five minutes of your time could help bring additional federal funding to Team Duval schools. Parents and guardians are encouraged to complete the 2026 Federal Impact Aid Survey to help ensure Duval County Public Schools receives all the funding it’s eligible to receive. The survey runs Oct. 12–26 and can be accessed through Parent FOCUS accounts.
Impact aid funding goes directly to local school districts and helps offset property tax revenue that may not otherwise be collected from federally-connected property. This funding can support materials, textbooks, additional staff, and other educational needs.
What is the Federal Impact Aid Survey?
The federal government uses this brief questionnaire to determine whether a student has a qualifying connection to federally-supported property. This may include students whose parents or guardians are:
Active-duty military members or full-time members of a foreign military.
Living in federally supported housing.
Working on a military base or other qualifying federal property, including certain federal facilities and post office locations.
Living in qualifying public housing.
The federal government collects this information from school districts to determine funding based on lost revenue from federally-connected properties. Military installations do not receive Impact Aid funding.
How do I complete the survey?
Parents and guardians must log in to their Parent FOCUS account to complete the survey.
It only takes about five minutes — and your participation can help bring additional funding to our schools,
