

Program Mission:
The mission of the Duval County Public Schools Out of School Time for Kids Hope Alliance Funded Programs (DCPS OST for KHA Funded Programs), formally known as Team Up, is through partnership with the City of Jacksonville, Duval County Public Schools, and various Providers, promote academic success, enhance students socially, and provide a space for positive community engagement, ultimately contributing to the overall well-being of the children and families we serve.
Program Overview:
DCPS OST for Kids Hope Alliance Funded Programs offers comprehensive afterschool and summer camp services across Duval County. With a commitment to accessibility and inclusivity, our program caters to approximately 6,000 students daily, spanning from kindergarten to twelfth grade. We provide a nurturing environment where students can engage in enriching activities and receive academic support every school day, including early release days. As a non fee-based program, we prioritize access to quality out-of-school time experiences, fostering the holistic development and success of every child we serve.

Objectives:
At DCPS OST for KHA Funded Programs, we believe that every child deserves a safe and supportive environment to grow, learn, and thrive beyond the traditional school day. DCPS OST for KHA Funded Programs are dedicated to bringing families and communities together, creating a nurturing space where children can flourish during the crucial out-of-school hours. By offering enriching activities, academic support, and positive social interactions, we empower children to explore their passions, develop valuable skills, and build meaningful connections with peers and mentors. Through collaboration with parents, schools, and community partners, we strive to foster a sense of belonging and ensure that all children can reach their full potential. Supervision is provided at a ratio of 1 adult to 20 children. Together, we are building a brighter future for our children and strengthening the fabric of our communities.
