DCPS Food Service Excellence

The Duval County Public Schools Food Service Department is proud to announce the successful completion of three comprehensive administrative reviews of the School Meals Programs in the 2025-2026 school year– all with no programmatic findings or financial penalties. This achievement reflects our commitment to excellence, compliance, and high-quality meal service across all federal nutrition programs.

This year, our team received outstanding results on the School Meals Administrative Review (SMAR) for the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs, the Child Care Food Program (CACFP) Review from the Florida Department of Health, and the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) Administrative Review. These evaluations assess key areas such as meal pattern compliance, food safety, documentation accuracy, civil rights requirements, and proper meal counting and claiming.

These outstanding results reflect the dedication, professionalism, and daily commitment of our DCPS Food Service staff to serving students across our district while maintaining the highest level of integrity in all nutrition programs. We are extremely proud of this achievement and grateful for the teamwork that made it possible.
