Apply Through the Family Portal
Current families seeking educational options beyond their neighborhood school can submit applications through FOCUS, which is in the Family Portal. A linked parent account is required to access and complete the application.

This is a lottery process: Applying for a magnet or STO school enters your student into a lottery process. Placement is not guaranteed.
Deadline: The application window closes on Jan. 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
Results: Lottery results will be available in mid-March.
