The Sports Medicine Magnet Program offers a unique educational experience to students who wish to pursue a career in the field of medicine.

Utilizing a "sports focus", students learn the foundations of anatomy and physiology, nutrition, athletic training and medical assisting. Upon graduating from Andrew Jackson, students have skills needed to successfully pursue higher education and/or careers in a number of medical careers.

The curriculum emphasizes hands-on experience and rigorous critical thinking skills in our state of the art facility. The program is structured is such a way that students meet their high school graduation requirements while having the opportunity for industry certification in Certified Medical Administrative Assistant and CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
