Arlington Elementary is the best kept secret in Duval County Public Schools!

Why, you might ask? 
We are a little red-brick school house that believes in teaching the whole child with solid foundation skills. Our school was established in 1921 and opened its doors in 1922 with one class of students. We have over 100 years of history and are dedicated to partnering with our community. 

Our Dolphin Pride is shown through the relationships we build as a school family in our Dolphin Pods.

Wellness and nutrition are important to us. 
Every student enjoys a free breakfast and lunch. Through our partnership with the Florida Fresh Fruit and Veggies Program students are given an opportunity to taste and learn about a variety of fruits and vegetables as a mid-afternoon snack.

We have wonderful Community Partners.
Arlington United Methodist Church previous support, includes; but is not limited to school supplies, breakfast and lunches for teachers and staff, and a dedicated Reading and Butterfly garden.

Micah's Backpack: through the power of volunteers and community support, food is quietly placed in the backpacks of students we need it the most each week, ensuring that they have meals over throughout the weekend.  

Florida Blue: support with campus beautification and volunteer readers. 

Superior Construction: donations of supplies and support in our school with volunteer hours. 

We want to develop more partnerships to build a community of little readers to become future leaders.
