With Naval Station Mayport and Naval Air Station Jacksonville in Duval County, we are home to hundreds of military families and look forward to helping your student thrive physically, mentally and academically.
The district’s Office of School Choice serves as the link between base commanders, military families, and our school. They will assist you with completing the initial enrollment process. Upon choosing to have your student placed here at Alden Road Exceptional Student Center, our military transitional staff will support you with completing your school-based registration process.

Student Registration
Families new to DCPS must create their Parent and Student FOCUS accounts by visiting the online enrollment process @ Enroll.
We know that transitioning into a new school can be stressful, so please reach out to our staff after you have completed the initial district enrollment process with the Office of School Choice and the Military Liaison Office. All Special Needs students will be placed in the school that best fits their individual needs.
Student-Led Transition Program
Our Student Mentors will welcome incoming military students upon acceptance at our school. They will take them on a tour of the campus and introduce them to important staff members who will be available throughout the school year for additional help or mentorship. When it is appropriate, every effort will be made to place a military student mentor with the new military student.
