Baldwin's Gifted and Academically Talented Education Program is an accelerated academic program that is designed for students who have a proven academic success record and who have the motivation to complete a rigorous level of academic classes.

Key Features:

• Gifted center school with fully released Gifted teacher and Middle School Gifted elective.

• Free school-wide gifted screening in 6th grade.

• Opportunity for 7th grade students to potentially take 8th grade Math and Science courses.

• Opportunity for 8th grade students to potentially take high school courses (ALG 1 Hon, BIO 1 Hon, Foreign Language, GEO Hon, HOPE, and Personal Finance).

• Students participating in the GATE program have the opportunity to participate in our CTE and AVID programs.

• Honors and Advanced courses are developed to foster critical thinking skills and prepare students to excel in an academically competitive world.
