Senior Events

Seniors who would like to participate in ANY senior activity must be in good standing in three (3) areas:

1. Academically - you must have a GPA of a 2.0 or above.

2. Attendance - You must be in good standing and follow school attendance policy.

3. Behaviorally - Seniors can not have any class 2 or higher referrals.

Senior events are a revocable privilege! These privileges can be taken away from individuals or the entire senior class for any unsatisfactory behavior or actions throughout the year. This also includes Prom, Grad Bash, and all senior activities.

All Senior Funds Paid to Baldwin Middle Senior High School are Nonrefundable and Nontransferable!

All seniors will be required to contribute to the graduation commencement fund. This fund will be used to exclusively to pay for all the necessities required to make your graduation ceremony as memorable as possible. The fee will be a non-refundable $62.60 payable to Baldwin Middle Senior High School. The fund pays for facilities, decorations, programs, tickets and all the details to make your graduation day a success.

Graduation Cap & Gown and Announcement Costs are Not Included in the Commencement Fee.

Commencement Fees are due November 13, 2026

Any student that fails to pay the commencement fee will have that added to their school debt list and will not be eligible to participate in the graduation ceremony until the fee is paid.

All Senior Payments Must Be Made Online Through School Cash. No Other Forms of Payment Will Be Accepted.

This large lump sum is an attempt to ease the minds of parents and students by allowing a one-time purchase of serval common items instead of several different deadlines. All items can be purchased separately at the time of the event or sale. Every senior can customize their packages by adding or subtracting any item. However, all seniors are responsible for the commencement fee of $62.50 even if no other additional items are purchased.

If you desire duplicate items, the cost of the item can be added to the cost of the package. It is not necessary to place a separate order. However, please clearly indicate which item(s) you desire and the appropriate sizes (if applicable).

Senior shirts and hoodies MUST be preordered and PAID for by 11/13/2026.

If you do not preorder, then you will not have the opportunity to purchase one.

All graduation details will be posted as soon as the district releases dates and information.

• White dress shirt, black slacks, black socks, black dress shoes, dark tie

• Dress/skirt & blouse no longer than gown

• Black heels, pumps, wedges, or flats. Shoes can be a sling back and open toes but cannot be backless.

• No oversized jewelry that covers the gown

• No cellphones, smart watches, or electronics of any kind

• No personal stoles or cords not issued by DCPS or Baldwin Middle-High School

All graduation seniors will receive eight (8). Students can earn NO MORE than four (4) extra tickets to by attending the events listed below.

There will be a senior sign in QR code at each event, to get the extra ticket you MUST complete the QR sign in.

If you do not sign in, then you will not get credit for attending the event.

All seniors must attend graduation practice the morning of graduation. You must ride the bus to and from practice. If you do not attend this practice, you will not be eligible to participate in the graduation ceremony. Students must report to school by 7:00 am and the bus will depart promptly at 7:45 am. We will return to campus by 11:30 am and student will have to provide their own transportation home. Students are to adhere to the school dress code for this event. Students do not need to bring their cap and gown. We do suggest that they bring their shoes they plan on walking in during graduation.
