Student Led Transition Team: Eagle Ambassadors
Eagle Ambassadors
At Bartram Springs Elementary, we are proud to support our military-connected students and families through our Eagle Ambassador Program. When new students
arrive, Eagle Ambassadors help them feel comfortable and connected by providing a welcome school tour, introduction to important locations and routines, and a friendly student connection. Our Eagle Ambassadors also collaborate to develop welcome materials and participate in service projects that strengthen our school community.
About the Eagle Ambassador Program
The Eagle Ambassador Program is a student leadership initiative designed to create connections and build a strong sense of belonging for students who are new to Bartram Springs, with a special focus on supporting our military-connected students.
Through the program, Eagle Ambassadors have opportunities to develop leadership, communication, empathy, responsibility, and service skills while helping new students successfully transition into our school community.
Military-connected students often experience unique transitions, including changing schools, relocating to a new community, and navigating a parent's deployment or return from deployment. Our Eagle Ambassadors help ensure that these students know they have a welcoming peer and a supportive Eagle community ready to help them.
At Bartram Springs Elementary, every new student deserves to feel welcomed, connected, and proud to be an Eagle!
