2025-2026 BTSAHS Uniform Policy and Information

THIS MANDATORY UNIFORM POLICY WILL BE IN FULL EFFECT FROM AUGUST 2025 THROUGH JUNE 2026

Reminders about the policy and/or warnings will only be provided during the first two (2) weeks of school.

I understand the uniform store offers items that are not allowed at school.  If I purchase these items, I will not be allowed to wear those items on school campus.

1.       Uniform Shirt: (All uniform shirts must be worn while on campus)

ONLY Purchase:  NAVY Blue, White, Gray, Yellow, Black Shirts—NO OTHER COLOR IS ALLOWED 

2.       Uniform Bottoms: (All uniform pants and shorts must be worn secured at the waistline)

·       PLAIN and SOLID KHAKI in BLUE,  BLACK, or TAN pants, shorts, or capri’s (No rips or tears)

·       Shorts must not be more than 2 inches above the back of the knee (This will be checked daily)

·       Skirts only permitted to be worn for documented religious purposes (This must be provided in writing)

·       No rips, holes or frayed edges/hems in clothing

 3.        Shoes and Socks:

Casual or gym shoes are permitted. CROCS or Croc type shoes are not permitted.  No Furry Boots, No open toed shoes, sandals, flip flops, etc.  Tennis shoes ONLY!

 4.      Additional Layer of Clothing to Keep Warm:

Jacket may be work over the uniform shirt and must remain fully unzipped while on campus.  Hoodies are NOT permitted on campus and will be confiscated.  NO sweatshirt allowed over your uniform shirt.  Winter gear is available on uniform store website.

5.       Prohibited Items:

     Clothing with hoods, hats, bandanas and sweatbands are NOT permitted on campus. 

     Purses that are larger than a sheet of paper (8.5 X 11) are NOT permitted on campus.

     Solid/Non clear backpacks/bags are not allowed on campus.

Student ID Badges: ID badges on lanyards (ID set) are a part of the uniform and must be worn around the neck to enter the building and while on campus.  IDs are checked upon entering campus.  Every student will receive one(1) complimentary replacement ID for the school year.  Additional prints will be made for a fee of $5.00 per print. 

              Benefit of having student ID’s:

·       Promotes a safe school environment.

·       Allows for quick access to obtain service in the cafeteria.

Students without ID’s:

·       Will be directed to report to the Dean’s office upon arrival to campus.

·       Will be provided with a new ID set, parent will be contacted and a $5.00 fee will be added to the student debt list for each occurrence. (All debts must be paid in full for students to be eligible to participate in school-sponsored activities such as field trips, college tours, etc.). 

2025-2026 BACKPACK POLICY

Students may carry a backpack while on campus providing that the following requirements are met:

The backpack is “see through” plastic or mesh material (All items in the backpack must be visible at all times)

 CONSEQUENCES FOR NOT COMPLYING WITH THIS CONTRACT

First Offense: Warning with a Phone Call Home to the Parent/Guardian

Parent/Guardian MUST come to the school with replacement clothes or pick up child for the day

Second Offense: Referral in FOCUS (Class II) & Parent/Guardian Conference with Dean/Administration

Third Offense: Parent/Guardian Shadowing

Fourth and Subsequent Offenses: Referral for Dismissal
