Hello Chimney Lakes Families & Care Givers:

Welcome back to another great week at Chimney Lakes! We loved seeing our families at our Family Reading Night last Thursday! Parents left with a great toolbox of things to help your student improve their reading at home. Plus, every family left with a great prize to assist your reader! You never knew what's going to be at our night events.

Here are a few things happening this week at Chimney Lakes!

*Fall Pictures will take place tomorrow (Tuesday, September 29th). Please make sure you have signed up for your pre-pay photos. If not, it's not too late even after your child has taken their photo! All students will take photos tomorrow as they are a part of our school's yearbook and their photos are updated in FOCUS.

*Sight in Schools will take place on Wednesday! If you completed a form for vision screening, you may receive a notice from them. They are a wonderful organization that provides glasses to students so they can be successful in school.

It's not too late to join CLE's PTA! Did you know that a grandparent, cousin, in-law, etc... all can count towards your child's homeroom teacher competition! It's not just limited to mom and dad. Just check send in $10 in an envelope marked "PTA".

Finally, you may want to send an extra quarter with the $1.00 bill you send for lunch treats. Ice cream has increased to $1.25 each.

Hope you have a great week!

Sincerely,

Marianne G. Lee
