Chimney Lakes Families & Care Givers:
Hope you're off to a great week! The temperature has definitely changed. So, please make sure your student's names are in the jacket. Here are a few things happening at Chimney Lakes in the coming days and weeks:
*School Advisory Council will meet tomorrow at 4:30 pm in the media center.
*Dress Up 50s Style....for the 50th Day of School! This Wednesday is the 50th day of school. (Can you believe it?) Our kindergarten students will dress up in poodle skirts, slicked back hair and penny loafers. So much to be a kindergartener!
*Data Triangle Survey closes this Friday! Please click this link here: https://tripod.sjc1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6myCRo2ZjlwmU3s
*Kindness Kar-Nival is next Thursday! If you have a vendor or community group that would like to volunteer or have a table, please reach out to AP Darr at 904-573-1100 or email at smithh2@duvalschools.org. See the flyer attached for more information. We still need candy...so please bring it into our Candy Monster!
*Book Character Vocabulary Parade: Let's celebrate literature with our Book Character Vocabulary Parade on Friday, October 30th @ 9 am. I've attached some information for you to this message with samples.
Don't forget to look for report cards to come home tomorrow (or posted on FOCUS at 4:30 pm). If you need a parent conference, please reach out to the teacher on Rooms or call the school at 904-573-1100.
Have a great week!
Sincerely,
Marianne G. Lee
Principal
