Girls on the Run is an amazing program for girls in 3rd through 5th grade. The Girls on the Run curriculum is designed to give girls the tools promoting good choices for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living.
Chimney Lakes Elementary is excited to celebrate another season this fall and spring. Twenty 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade girls will participate in the 10-week program culminating in a 5k run/walk at the University of North Florida.
We meet after school Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15-4:15 pm to do our group activity and train for our 5k. The girls will work on skills that help them become better friends to others and gain more confidence in themselves.
