CTE Students have multiple scholarship and financial aid opportunities that are exclusively for them!
Career and Technical Education (CTE) students may qualify for Florida Bright Futures Vocational Scholars (GSV) or CAPE Scholars (GSC) awards to help with postsecondary education expenses. These awards are based on a student enrolling in a CTE or certificate program.
To qualify, Florida high school students must meet eligibility requirements that include high school academic achievement, community service and/or work hours, and standardized assessments.

CTE Students are a part of that talent pipeline that becomes the next generation of the region’s workforce!

CTE Students can accelerate their college paths thanks to program partners like Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and Florida State College at Jacksonville.
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) and Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) offer CTE dual enrollment courses for DCPS students. There is no cost for tuition and instructional materials for students who enroll and participate.
Transportation is provided for students enrolled in programs located at the downtown FSCJ campus. To learn more, talk to your school counselor or visit our High School Program page to see which schools offer ERAU partnered programs.
