DCPS Nutrition Program Scholarship
Duval County Public Schools Nutrition Program partners with Chartwells K12 and Thompson Hospitality to provide food service management and serve up happy and healthy in cafeterias district-wide.
To give back to the students we serve, we invite DCPS seniors to apply for our annual scholarship funds, which include:
A one-time $10,000 scholarship for five seniors who plan to continue on to post-secondary education
And a one-time meal plan scholarship for seniors who plan to continue their education at a Historically Black College and University with food service provided by Thompson Hospitality
This year, we received over 40 applications composed of many highly qualified candidates and are delighted to award five Nutrition Program scholarships to these outstanding DCPS graduates.

Thompson Hospitality Meal Plan Scholarship
Thompson Hospitality isthe largest minority-owned food service company in North America and has partnered with Chartwells K12 to help provide food service management for Duval County Public Schools since 2009.
To give back to the students we serve, Thompson Hospitality is offering a one-year meal plan scholarship to three Duval County Public School seniors who plan to continue their education at a historically black college and university with food service provided by Thompson Hospitality. The current list of qualifying schools is as follows:
Cheyney University
Coppin State University
Florida Memorial University
Hampton University
Lincoln University, PA
Miss. Valley State University
Norfolk State University
Paine College
Shaw University
Talladega College
Tougaloo College
Univ. of MD Eastern Shore
Virginia State University
Wilberforce University
Eligibility:
The scholarship is open to seniors graduating from a Duval County public high school in spring 2025. Three winners will receive a one-year meal plan scholarship to apply toward their post-secondary education at a historically black college and university.
Requirements:
Acceptance letter/proof of enrollment into a historically black college and university
Only the schools listed above will be accepted
Submit a copy of your high school transcript
2.5 GPA or above
Submit the completed application
Scholarship Deadline: May 30, 2025
