Traditional Dual Enrollment at Ed White

Students in 11th and 12th grade may participate in dual enrollment at Edward H White High School if they meet eligibility criteria. We offer dual enrollment on-site at Edward H. White in partnership with three different institutions: Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ), Edward Waters College (EWC), and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU).

In addition to our on-site dual enrollment classes, students who meet eligibility criteria for dual enrollment with FSCJ may elect to take up to 2 courses per semester at the FSCJ Kent campus. This still allows them the opportunity to take 1 FSCJ course at Edward H White, as well. Students may not take more than 3 total FSCJ courses in one semester, and they may not take any course at FSCJ Kent that is also offered at Edward H. White during the same term. For example, if Edward H. White is offering ENC1101 during the Fall term, the student must take that course on our campus, and will need to select a different course or courses, not being offered at Edward H. White, to take at FSCJ.

Please keep in mind that juniors are not eligible for partial schedules, and therefore any courses they elect to take at FSCJ Kent must be after regular school hours, and will be in addition to their regular Edward H. White school schedule.

**Applications for Spring 2022 will be accepted soon, please continue to check here for updates. ***

Students should never add, change, or drop a dual enrollment course on their own, even if they appear to have access to do so. This is grounds for removal from all dual enrollment courses and will cause a student to become ineligible for any future dual enrollment opportunities with FSCJ. Students must complete the paper application, and will be registered for their selected courses by an FSCJ dual enrollment coordinator. Any changes to their schedule at FSCJ must be approved by the dual enrollment coordinator and their Edward H. White High School counselor.
