Mr. Antonio Banks is a native of Jacksonville, Florida and has been in education for 21 years.  He is a proud graduate of Ribault High School.  After graduating from high school, he enrolled at Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Ga. to pursue a degree in Political Science.  However, he decided to enlist in the U.S. Army in 1991, serving in Barstow, California and Darmstadt, Germany.  After serving 4 years in the U.S. Army, he decided to return to college to receive his B.A. in Social Science Education from the University of North Florida. 

Immediately after receiving his bachelor’s degree, he began working as a substitute teacher and taught in the Upward Bound Program at Florida Community College.  The Upward Bound Program increased his passion for working with young people.  His teaching career with Duval County Schools began at Landon Middle School, then Lavilla School of the Arts. 

In 2005, he received his master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of North Florida.  In 2007, Mr. Banks relocated to rural Ohio to work as a middle school principal and district hearing officer.

He returned to Lavilla Middle School as an Assistant Principal in 2009.  After working at Lavilla Middle School, he served as an assistant principal at Ribault Middle and Frank H. Peterson Academies of Technology. 

Mr. Banks' educational philosophy is that ALL CHILDREN CAN LEARN!  He is passionate about helping young people pursue their success in either college or a career.

Born and raised in Jacksonville, Ms. Ingraham grew up as the proud daughter of a lifelong teacher. She likes to say she took on the family business, stemming from being the kid who helped set up bulletin boards, organized file cabinets, and treated school hallways as her playground. That upbringing instilled in her the joy and fulfillment of building a career in education.

Her own educational path took her through Douglas Anderson School of the Arts as a Vocal major, before she went on to earn her undergraduate degree from Florida State University. Before stepping into the classroom, she explored education from several different angles, working in policy in Tallahassee, FL, higher education across the nation, and education business in Washington, DC. Those experiences gave her a broader view of the field, and they made one thing clear: K-12 was where she wanted to be.

She began her teaching career in Nashville, working in a turnaround school setting. This experience sharpened her understanding of grit, and she learned firsthand that when students are given adequate support, they will rise to meet the bar set for them. While in Nashville, she earned her Master of Education from Lipscomb University. She returned to Jacksonville to teach at LaVilla School of the Arts, excited to be closer to family and back in the world of arts education that deeply shaped who she is. Throughout her time in the classroom, she taught 6th- and 7th-grade ELA and Intensive Reading.

As an avid supporter of pursuing higher education and leadership opportunities, her transition to Julia Landon College Preparatory Middle School is especially fitting. She is continuing her education at Florida State University, where she is currently a doctoral candidate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. Her guiding philosophy is prioritizing humanity in education with kindness, gratitude, and joy at the center of her work. She believes every student and teacher deserves a champion in their corner, cheering them on. She is thrilled to bring that same purpose to her role as Assistant Principal of Student Services at Julia Landon College Preparatory Middle School. She is beyond grateful for the opportunity to work alongside such a strong, dynamic, and innovative team.

In her spare time, Ms. Ingraham enjoys listening to jazz music, rollerblading, travelling, and spending time with her pug, Violet. She is always planning her next adventure, whether it is finding her new favorite local restaurant, plotting a cross-country road trip, or manifesting another trip to Italy. She loves all concerts, but nothing will quite beat seeing Adele perform live in an audience of less than 4,000 people.

Mrs. MiChelle Bourgholtzer is a proud graduate of Englewood High School and earned her B.A. degree in Education with an emphasis in Varying Exceptionalities from the University of North Florida. She has taught in various high schools working with students of diverse needs. For the past 12 years, she has served as Dean of Students and Athletic Director here at Julia Landon where her passion for supporting students and fostering a love for both academics and athletics is evident in her daily work.
